HURRICANE
Costume Design 2020
Hurricane was recently accepted to the 2021 Los Angeles International Shorts Festival and the 2021 American Pavilion Emerging Filmmaker Showcase at the Cannes Film Festival!
For this production, I costume-designed Hurricane, a graduate student short film. I worked with directors and producers to achieve the style they were looking for, while working remotely with actors for fittings, styling, etc. I was present on set and helped dress all actors. I was vigilant to ensure costumes remained consistent in various takes. I recruited and trained a costume crew to assist me.
FUENTE OVEJUNA:
A DISLOYAL ADAPTATION
Costume Design 2020
I acted as the costume designer for this School of Dramatic Arts mainstage production. I designed, pulled, and sketched costumes to be built for all characters. I orchestrated quick changes and worked with the various time periods that were everpresent throughout the play. Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the production was unable to be actualized.
THE CIDER HOUSE RULES
Assistant Costume Designer 2019
During this production, I assisted a senior costume designer in the large two part School of Dramatic Arts mainstage production. My tasks included helping with measurements, fittings, pulling from stock, writing alteration notes, swatching fabrics, researching period-specific hair and makeup, and helping with notes during technical rehearsals.
A STONE IS NOBODY'S
Costume Design 2019
This production was a New Works Festival Production in which I designed, pulled, and fit all the costumes for the cast. I then created run sheets to instruct the costume crews, and advised actors on hair and makeup.
